Triple security of supply – the Woodox partner plants

Only locations that had been carefully examined have been incorporated into our production group to ensure that our pellets will continually be of the highest quality. In addition, renowned and independent institutes control the production and quality of our pellets on a regular basis.

Currently, our three partner plants in Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt guarantee a triple security of supply. Should production be delayed at one of the plants on a short-term basis, possible bottlenecks are offset by the other two locations.

Each plant, operating in three shifts, produces a minimum of 60,000 tons of pellets a year. Moreover, the tandem concept of pelleting plant and biomass-cogeneration plant generates more than 14,000 MWh of electricity annually – that parallels the annual power consumption of 2,800 households.
